So far i suck at updating this thing. I’m going to depend on Preston to take care of it once we get to Sydney.
So, the Australian visa office asked us for strange bits of additional information like chest x-rays and FBI background checks. We’ve been working on getting these things in – almost done – and once it’s all there, we’ll just be waiting again.
This is much, much longer than we expected to be in the states. Pretty discouraging. If you pray, you could pray that we’ll get out of here soon.
In the meantime, I went to Florida to see Dana, Preston went to Oregon to see his family, we’re both going to Chicago this weekend to be with Mark and hopefully Nate and Dana too. It was a lovely Christmas and we’re trying to savor our time here with so many people we love.
