   Are blogs too weird and self-absorbed? We’re assuming here that you want to know what’s going on with us….YOU should assume that we want to know what’s going on with you! It’s a terrible thing to think about being so far away from a life full of beautiful people, so….keep us near. Ok?

I’m thinking as I start typing this that you may not even know that we’re moving….I mean, if for some reason we haven’t been in touch or something. So…I’m going to post the “story” of how this all came about, in the ‘about’ section over to the left. That way we’ll be up to date together. Ok? Great.

As of today we are…waiting. Out of the apartment, all packed up, ready to board the plane, and…waiting. We were given an incredible goodbye party by my team here at work and are still feeling a deep sense of gratefulness for the love we know here. It just feels a little odd to hang out after we’ve said goodbye.

The Visa office says “any day now.” Then we’ll ask the church in Australia to buy our tickets. Then we’ll go. It’s all very surreal – some days I’m pretty sure we’re not going at all, some days I’m excited….most days I just cry. (Not really a joke…)

Alright, I don’t want this blog to be boring, so that’s all I’m going to say until I think of info that’s more interesting. I’m going to try to post pictures of our new house now…It’s lovely.  (I got it to post above, but haven’t quite figured out this blog thing…so….I’ll post more later)
